I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I certainly did and now I’m looking forward to the New Year.
In the meantime, I wanted to share my Best Ever Hot Crab Dip Recipe as part of a 2-day Party Recipe event put on by my friend Kathy from Petticoat Junktion.
Kathy asked us to share a favorite party recipe that could be used all year long.
I’ve been making this crab dip for years. I got the recipe from a co-worker several years ago and it is definitely a favorite!
Here are the ingredients:
- 16 ounces lump crab meat
- 1-1/2 cups mayonaise
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
- juice from one lemon
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
Instructions:
- combine all ingredients together except the crab meat
- mix well
- gently fold in crab meat
- pour into baking dish(es)
- bake @ 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes
Until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve with crackers . . .
. . . veggies . . .
. . . or soft pretzels – yum ; )
