When I saw that the theme for this month’s Silhouette Project was “$5 and under” I quickly jumped onboard.

After all, there’s a TON of projects you can make for under $5 with a Silhouette just by using up some supplies that you already own. Like paper. And glitter.

So if you’ve got Christmas paper and glitter why not make another banner??? I know. Another banner! I promise it’s the last one this year ; )

It’s just that they’re just so stinkin’ cute and easy to make.

Since this banner will be hanging in my hallway, I made it a bit bigger than usual. The hallway is a pretty barren place, so this banner is a fun and festive way to decorate a large area for little money.

I found this scrapbook paper in my stash.

And we all have glitter right?

I quickly made a banner shape in Silhouette Studio. (If you need a banner shape, let me know and I’ll send you this one.)

Since the paper already had little touches of glitter on them, I decided that “more is more”!

I ran a bead of glue around the edges and added more glitter.

You just can’t have enough glitter!

Some were trimmed out in red Silhouette® glitter.

And others were trimmed out with glitter glass.

Banners are such an easy and inexpensive project to make and I love how they can cover a large area and make a beautiful impact in a space.
