This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

If you see me wearing a baseball cap it can mean only one thing: Bad Hair Day!

And if I’m going to be sporting a baseball cap, it has to be cute. Really cute.

The best way to ensure that I have a super cute baseball cap to wear? Decorate it myself. With either iron-on vinyl or Chalk Couture Ink.  I have done both. And now there is a new and easy way to ensure that the iron-on or Ink is on their permanently. Have you ever tried to use an iron on a baseball cap??? Not easy my friends. Not easy at all. Until now.

How to customize a hat with the Cricut EasyPress Mini

Check out the new Cricut EasyPress Mini

This cute little EasyPress is perfect for hats! It’s also perfect for sewing. I recently used it to press open the seams while I was piecing a quilt together! I will also use it for any small sewing projects like these fabric coasters. Last year I used the smallest EasyPress at the time for that task but this little beauty is the perfect size for that!

I believe the EasyPress Mini would be perfect to use on canvas shoes also. So many great ideas are spinning around in my head right now. It even works great on stuffed animals!  How would you use it?

The Cricut EasyPress Mini is the newest addition to the Cricut EasyPress family, and is a great companion to whatever size Cricut EasyPress you have in your current collection.  The EasyPress Mini offers the same benefits and technology as the Cricut EasyPress 2: an even heat plate and easy-to-use heat settings for effortless heat transfers.

Look at at how I used the new Cricut EasyPress Mini to create my cute hats!

I used Cricut Glitter Iron-On and cut out my logo using my Cricut Explore Air2. Click here for more Iron On projects and how-to’s.

Simply plug in the Cricut EasyPress Mini and push in the button the front. Once, twice, or three times will determine the heat levels. Three simple heat settings take on every possible heat-transfer project, including permanent Infusible Ink transfers that become one with the base material. With an extra layer of protection on its ceramic heat plate, Cricut EasyPress Mini effortlessly glides over oddly shaped surfaces to transfer your design. Safety features include an insulated base and an auto-shutoff feature.

It’s lightweight, portable, easy to store, and compatible with major brands of HTV, iron-on, and the entire Infusible Ink family of products. I have found that it’s also compatible with Chalk Couture Ink. Which is what I used on this next hat. Take a look:

I discovered that placing the hat over an empty bowl or small bucket helped to keep the shape of the hat in place.

I love both of these hats and wear them often. Because, well, you know – bad hair days! How would you use the new Cricut EasyPress Mini?

So you would need a bigger one for shirts?, because you said it’s better for small projects.
