DISCLOSURE:  I was provided product and/or compensation for this post.  All ideas and opinions are 100% my own.  Please read my full disclosure statement for more information.

I wanted pretty wooden pumpkins for my Halloween display in the front yard and also needed a cool way to store and serve the candy to the trick or treaters. Plastic bowls are so boring. These pretty Halloween Pumpkins with Treat Storage are the perfect solution.

How to Make Pretty Pumpkins with Treat Storage

DIY Halloween Pumpkins with Built-in Treat Storage

The directions for how to make these pretty pumpkins is over on Ryobi Nation. While you’re over there, be sure to check out all of their awesome tools ’cause I have a surprise* for you at the end of this post.

DIY Halloween Pumpkins with Built-in Treat Storage

Every year I would sit outside with my plastic bowl of candy. I know that the kids don’t care if the treats are in a plastic bowl or a pretty pumpkin but I do! ; )

And why not make these pretty pumpkins since they serve (see what I did there) a dual purpose. They look pretty and hold the treats! And they are super easy to make.

If you’re like me, you probably already have the wood to make these. The pumpkins are made with scrap pieces of thin plywood, and put together with some wood glue and brad nails. Paint or stain them any way you’d like.

Tip: use a spray temporary adhesive to stick the pattern to the wood – it can be removed after cutting.

Here’s the surprise!*

How would you like to win $300 of power tools?!?! That’s right, $300!!!! Ryobi and I have teamed up to give away a $300 credit to one of my readers! You get to pick the tools you want. Entering is easy. Please note that this giveaway is for residents of the continental United States, ages 18 and over.  This giveaway is for power tools only.  RYOBI lawn and garden tools are not included. Follow the instructions on the Rafflecopter entry form below and good luck!
