If you search “reversible holiday blocks” in Pinterest, you will be rewarded with page after page of the cutest block sets. It’s impossible to pick a favorite!

But I finally settled on this tutorial to follow.
These blocks were really easy to make. Also, since I had everything on hand that was needed to make them, this project was affordable, too!
All you need to make these fun reversible blocks are a few pieces of 2 x 4’s and some craft paint.
Of course you’ll need a way to cut the 2 x 4’s. I used my Ryobi 12″ Sliding Miter Saw to cut mine, but you could also use a hand saw.
I cut out the vinyl letters with my Silhouette Cameo, but you could also use stickers from the craft store, or even free hand paint them on.
I even saw where someone used mod podge to decoupage letters made with scrapbook paper. That would be pretty, too!
I used a sanding sponge to rough up the paint a bit for a worn and loved look ; )
In the tutorial that I followed, the measurements for the blocks are provided as well as the paint colors that she used. She also shares the names of the fonts for the letters.
This project is just one of the projects in the this month’s Power Tool Challenge. Please visit the blogs below to see the Holiday Projects my friends have made!

Oh I know Jeanie, I’ve been admiring Holiday blocks on Pinterest – they catch my eye every time. LOVE LOVE the rustic look of yours and the whimiscal fonts you used. If these showed up on my doorstep via Secret Santa I would be doing the happy dance (finger’s crossed).
