Flowers, flowers flowers. I love all kinds of flowers. And I don’t just mean varieties of real flowers. I mean: paper flowers, silk flowers, felt flowers, painted flowers. You get the picture. I’m just a flower child at heart I guess!

I used to make paper flowers all the time with my Silhouette Cameo like these extra large flowers for wall decor. Now I like making them with my Cricut Maker. Like these peonies. Peonies are one of my favorites!

Paper Flowers Made with Cricut

I recently made this chalkboard art with a beautiful transfer from Chalk Couture called To Plant a Garden. I love this quote from Audrey Hepburn. I used black Chalkology Paste on the metal board that I found at Michael’s. When I was done chalking the design, I decided that it needed some colors. I was going to use silk flowers and attach them with magnets but decided instead to make simple rolled flowers out of paper cut with my Cricut Maker.

I used a simple rolled flower SVG that I found online, uploaded it into DesignSpace, then cut out several flowers with a few different colors of card stock. These flowers are so easy to make. You simply start at the end and roll! A dab of hot glue holds it all together.

I also used hot glue to attach magnets to each flower making it easy to attach them to my chalkboard art.

I think the pretty rolled flowers add jus the right amount of color to this piece. What do you think?

I’m thrilled with how it looks and will enjoy this new chalkboard art on my gallery wall.

My friends have been busy making May flower projects, too. Please be sure to visit them and see what they have made!

What sets basketball stars apart from other basketball games is its arcade-style mechanics, responsive controls, and impressive variety of characters and gear. It combines skill-based gameplay with flashy, over-the-top action that keeps players coming back for more.

It’s amazing how just a splash of color can elevate a piece! Your choice of flowers for the chalkboard makes such a difference. I’ve dabbled in using Pantone colors for my projects too; they really help in picking the perfect hues. You might find some inspiration in this color chart I loved: color chart.
