Thank you to RYOBI Nation for sponsoring today’s post about building a farmhouse bed. Be sure to read all the way to the bottom to see the details for the RYOBI Power Tool Giveaway!

diy farmhouse bed and ryobi power tool giveaway
I’m going to be remodeling my master bedroom this month as part of the One Room Challenge® that starts on Thursday.

Before I got started with the actual room makeover, I made a farmhouse bed. I’ve been wanting a bed with a headboard and footboard for a long time and knew that the only way I was going to get exactly what I wanted was to make it myself.

Please stop by on Thursday see all of the “before” pictures of my orange master bedroom and also to see what my plans are for this space. I’ll also be asking for suggestions so please help a girl out!

Back to the bed: For years, my mattress and box springs have been sitting on a metal frame until I decided on a style that I wanted for my bed. The style I decided on is farmhouse.

My favorite feature of this bed? I love the big, tall headboard with the “X” design.

The full plans, materials list, and step-by-step directions on how to make this farmhouse bed are right here on RYOBI Nation.

Are you ready to make your bed but need to add some new power tools to your workbench? Maybe we can help you out. I have partnered with RYOBI Power Tools to give one of my readers their choice of $300 worth of power tools!

All the hard works seem worthful after getting such piece of thing. Beautiful and out of boring designs available on market. The bed looks absolutely beautiful.

What amazing thought to come up with the most unique bed! I cannot withstand the feeling that pushes me to know more about this. Ideas are just like the bed itself, I like it.

I have been a carpenter and have made furniture but I have neither made nor come across such amazing idea.

Thanks for your generosity by sharing your ideas with the whole world to nature more talents among people. I just want to try it out and see how best I can express my skills on the new idea.

All I need is to get are the amazing power tools from RYOBI to ease my work.
